| Although the quality is usually ok and the price generally good with Betamax companies such as lowratevoip I have noticed 2 instances that I have been charged a different rate than what is advertised on a betamax website. My small business requires that I call overseas and on this day a call to Pakistan should have been €0.03 (before vat) and €0.036 (after vat) when in fact it cost me €2.8 for 56 minutes (rounded to nearest minute). That would make the cost per minute €0.05 per minute. Watch these guys and complain if they are overcharging you. I was also overcharged by Poivy (a sister company) on a call to Zimbabwe as well. Maybe my math is wrong but I don't think so...which makes me think this is part of their strategy. |
